Bandraにある掘建て小屋のようなデリに食パンらしきものがあると聞いたので、試す価値ありと、早速訪問。この外観、この内装。騙されたと思って買った食パン風のものは、しっとり感といい、食感といい、なかなか日本のそれに近いものがあります。子供が日本のパンを食べたいというのでホームベーカリーで作ったりしてましたが、小さいサイズの方が、身が詰まっている感じでお勧めかも。40ルピー。

Got an information that we can buy “soft white bread” at local deli shop near Bandra. Hum.. this outlook and very local shop, how can I imagine white bread is similar to Japanese one? Surprised, this is very nice. I recommend smaller one, just INR 40.

Jamie Oliver’s restaurant franchise. We can find in High Street Phoenix Mall and CR2 in Nariman Point. I have not confirm whether recipe is original Jamie’s. Jamie is very famous chef and restaurant producer. I think British origin culture is easily adopted to India?

昨日の料理がまずまずだったので、２日続けてSpessoへ。本日は「PINK」という名前のトマト＆クリームソースのパスタ…のはずが、たっぷりのソースの中に泳ぐ茹で過ぎのパスタ。なるほど、これは無理だわ。

Visited “Spesso” restaurant first time with colleague, which is not a big scored by Japanese. So called, “Indian Italian”. Ordered Veg Lasagna, little spicy but not too bad.

Visited XOCO, Mexican restaurant, at Kamala Mills, where board cast companies are located. Live cooked fresh Guacamole was so good.

アメリカンスクール主催のFestive of Nationに参加。各国が文化の紹介や軽食を提供します。舞台では民族舞踊、ボリウッドダンス、東京五輪音頭など。なかなかの大盛況でした。

Visited Festive of Nation organized by American school of Bombay. Every country introduces its culture and/or serves snacks. In main stage, several performance such as traditional dance, Bollywood dance and Tokyo Olympic bom-dance. So crowded.
