スラムだとしても家があるだけまだ恵まれている。路上で日々の糧を得るために野菜を売ったりして生活している人もいます。しかしその隣でスマホで電話するのも、インドらしい。
Slam is not a poorest as they have a own house. We see people living in roadside, selling vegetables etc to live with. At the same time, gentleman (Dad?) is using his smartphone, this is India.
（ちょっと分かりにくいかもしれないですが）道端に人が倒れている・・と思いきや、ぐっすりお休みの様子です。暖かくなってきたので、都心部でもこういう姿が見られるシーズン到来です。
(Picture is little unclear) Surprised that person is down on the street…, No, he is sleeping. Now Mumbai is getting warm and we could see this “street sleeper” even in the center of the city in this season.
ラーメンが食べられるレストランがあるというので、期末の打ち上げを兼ねて会社のメンバーと訪問。
うーん。長崎ちゃんぽんみたいな麺に出汁の効いたスープ。似たようなうどんのメニューがあったっような気がするが、明らかにラーメンではなかった。
Heard there is a restaurant where we can eat Ramen noodle, so visited with Japanese colleagues for “term-end drink”.
Hum, noodle is like pasta and Japanese shiitake mushroom taste soup. I cannot clearly remember but maybe be we have similar “Udon” noodles in Japan. Clearly this was not a Ramen.

道路脇ではワゴンでバナナや果物が売られますが、道路の真ん中も、堂々と手押しで移動するため、渋滞の一因になっています。今朝見たのはバナナのワゴンでした。
We can find a lot of “wagon based shop” in roadsides. This four push wheeler drives road as well….causes traffic jam everywhere. Today met banana wagon.
三度目のSpesso。ペペロンチーノですが、かなりパンチの効いたチリとガーリック。もう、チリガーリックパスタでいいんじゃないかな。そういう食べ物として接すると、アリです。
3rd challenge for Spesso. Aglio e olio pasta is full of chili and garlic. Let’s rename chili garlic pasta, then this is good and tasty in line with the name.
インドのフルーツの美味しい時期がやってきました。
ザクロはもともとイランから北インドにかけてが原産地。今時分はムンバイのあるマハーラーシュトラ州で国内生産の70パーセントを占め輸出もしているそうです。インドがザクロの生産大国って、知りませんでした。
実を割り、宝石のように輝く種をボウルに移し、スプーンを使って口にほうばると、爽やかで甘酸っぱいジュースが口中に広がり、この上ない幸せです。
India is now in the middle of various fruits season.
Pomegranate’s origin is Iran to North India. Maharashtra, where Mumbai city located, produces 70% and also exporting it globally. I find know India is the world largest producer.
I feel so happy, when cut the pomegranate, take out seeds which shines like a jewel, and eating full of spoon… then your mouth will be filled with sweet and sour juice!
パンドラにある輸入食材を扱うFoodhall。12月くらいに新規オープンして、かなりの評判を聞いていましたので、初チャレンジ。
地上階は野菜や果物、１階は輸入食材や調味料など、２階はデリと料理教室、そして綺麗で数の多いトイレ、地下階は肉や魚を扱っています。生椎茸も手に入る時代になりました。
トイレ事情の悪いインド、Bandraでお困りの場合は覚えておくと便利です。
First time visiting Foodhall in Bandra which opened in last Dec. Very good reputation so far.
Grand floor for vegetables and fruits, 1st floor for import goods, 2nd floor for deli and cooking school + clean washroom (toilets), basement is for fish and meats. We can buy Shitake Mashroom also.
Washroom, especially for young children, is always a problem in this country, so it is good you to know this place.

帰路は初のGo Air。InduGoと同様にLCCで食事はサンドイッチかインスタント食品。ビリヤニを頼みました。
しかし直行便が出来たお陰でかなり移動が楽です。従来はスリランカ経由でほぼ半日は移動だったそうです。
Fist time experience of taking Go Air flight. Said often the case for LCC, food option is limited such as sandwiches or instant cup foods. Ordered veg biriyani.
Now transportation to Maldives is much quicker than before, it used to be taking transit flight via Colombo, Sri Lanka.
