最近アンビバレーという所にあるゴルフ場が再開したというので会社のメンバーと。ムンバイから東へ車で2時間半ほど。丘陵地域に突如、日本で言えば、昔ゼネコンや不動産会社がリゾート開発したような、ゴルフ場を有する別荘地が出現。インドにこんな場所があったのか、と。谷越えの多いコースでしたが、会社の後輩が見事ホールインワン！

We visited Aamby Valley golf course, recently reopened. After 2.5 hours drive from Mumbai, suddenly resort town showed up.It is similar to resort town in mountain area in Japan, where major construction company or real estate company developed in 1980s.

Course itself is full of variety and so many “valley” traps. Our colleagues made “hole in one” for the first time in his life, awesome!

インドでは、まだ都市ガスが普及していないのと、ガス漏れの危険もあるらしく、ガスシリンダーが主流です。

こんな風に自転車(三輪車?)に満載して家庭に届けられます。

In India, gas pipeline is not popular yet partly due to leakage / stolen. We uses Gas cylinder at home. It is delivered like in picture, with tricycles.

スコッチモルトを使ったローカルビール、ツボルグ。なんだかドイツ語っぽいネーミングですけどね。

キングフィシャーよりもライトテイストで、バドワイザーみたいな感じです。

それよりも注目は傾き。グラスがまっすぐで缶は傾いています。インドの缶ビールではよくある現象で、缶がまっすぐに立たないことがしばしば。家のみの時など、気をつけないと大惨事になります。

Local beer used “Scotch Malt”, named Tuborg. Sounds pretty much German. It tastes like Budweiser, very light.

What I want to you to look at is can is not stand straight. Glass is in correct vertical. It is quite usual for canned drink in India. We should be careful when drinking at home, to avoid disaster.

インドのネットバンキングは日本のそれと比べて大変進んでいます。先ず取引のたびにOTP=One time passwordが登録された携帯にSMSで通知されます。

さらに通常ではあり得ない大口の決済の場合は、OTP入力をした直後に自動音声の電話がかかってきて、取引内容の再確認を経ないと取引が完了しない段取り。そして取引内容はSMSとメールですぐに通知がきます。実感として決済後5秒くらい。

Net banking in India is far ahead that of in Japan. At the time of transaction we’re requested to input OTP = one time password which you receive via SMS in your registered mobile number.

On top of that in case it extraordinary transaction such as amount is large, immediately after input of OTP, you receive automatic voice call and need to confirm your transaction. After completion of transaction you’ll receive confirmation SMS and Email. This notice comes to you just 5 seconds after the transaction!

デリー出張２日目。やはり一回はラーメンが食べたくなります。新メニューで豚骨醤油が発売されていました。かなり本格派。お値段はちょっと高めの500ルピー、約800円。

2nd day of Delhi business trip. Miss Ramen noodles and should have at least once during the BT. New menu of Tonkotsu Sho-yu, pork soy sauce soup, is very good, INR 500.

デリーに出張に来ています。訪れるたびに街が開発されています。エアロシティ内にナイトマーケットまで。

Coming to Delhi for business trip. Every time I find the city is developing. Even night market starts in aerocity.

BKCエリアにあるBotecoへランチに訪れました。ここはブラジルのシュラスコ料理が食べれることで有名です。ワインはスーラのディンドリ、ヴァロンヌのヴィオニエ、シャロサのテンプラニーリョ、グローバーのレゼルバなど、まずまずの品揃え。

お店の雰囲気も良く、鉄板で自分で焼くバーベキューはお値段800ルピー程度と大変リーズナブルで満足度が高いです。

Visited Boteco, Brazilian Churrasco restaurant in BKC. Also good Indian wine selection such as Sula Dindori, Vallonne Viognier, Charossa Tempranillo, and Grover Zappa reserve.

Interior is very good and recommended to order self BBQ, which is just INR 800.

沢山の方にご心配いただきましたパスポートですが本日無事に手元に戻りました。

警察署に紛失届けを出したため、紛失届けの取り下げのために警察署に再出頭。手続きの途中で業者から「2000ルピーあるか」と囁かれ、手続きがおわるや否や人目のつかないところに呼び出される始末。てか、「無くしたのが業者で払うのは自分？」意味わかんないですけど。

とりあえずパスポートを無事に取り返し、一刻も警察署からリリースされるためには業者に「手数料」として一旦手渡すものの、あまりに釈然としないので、帰路の車中でエージェントに大クレーム。実は新手の詐欺なんじゃないかと思ったりして。

Thank you my friend who has very much concerned about my passport loss. Fortunately passport was found and today it was returned to me.

As I already complained to police, in order to withdraw it I had to again to visit police station. During the process local cargo agent asked me about INR 2,000. After completion of the process, I was asked to come little dark space to hand over the the “processing fee”. Hum, he lost my passport and I have to pay the processing fee, something went wrong.

However to get passport back as quickly as possible and get out the police stating, I decided to pay the “fee”. I’m so embarrassed this and quickly gave a call to parent agent of reimbursement. This might be a new type of fraud?

ローカルで賑わうチャイナガーデンで会社のメンバーとディナー。東京からの偉い方の来印対応がとりあえず終わった、という節目の打ち上げってやつです。

どうしてもマサラ風味になりがちなインドにおける中華料理ですが、外装とは異なり、なかなかのお味でした。

Visited Chinese restaurant named “China garden” with colleagues to cerebrating success of welcoming VIP of our company from Japan.

Chinese in India is tend to be an Indian taste, but this restaurant maintains original, albeit shabby exterior.

当地のローカル誌のヘッドラインにも取り上げられています。しかし16ページ目に詳細があるはずなんですが、開いてみるとどこにも見当たらない、というのはインド流。

New ears news is headlined in local newspaper. It suggested to look into detail in page 16, but I could not find anywhere, this is India….
