個人的にファストフードはあまり食べないのですが、こちらはいつか食べようと心待ちにしていてようやくありつけました。その名もマハラジャ・マック。そう、ビッグ・マックはインドではマハラジャ・マックと呼ばれているのです。

どうですか、この堂々とした出で立ち…と言いたいところですが、パンズが柔らかいので支えがないと崩れます（笑）。お味はジューシーかつスパイシーなチキン。

I was long waiting for the chance to taste this, though I’m not so much big fun of fast food…..

The name of this burger is “Maharaja Mac”

In rest of the world it is known as Big Mac.

Look, how this behaves as if it is Maharaja…. oh no, because bread is so fragile/weak it cannot stand by itself.

Taste is juicy and spicy chicken.

チームメイトの送別ドリンクで会社のそばのGarageというパブを訪問。昔の建物をリノベーションした内装で、なかなか心地良い空間。パプでは、ナッツ、ポテト、ピザ、炭火焼チキンなどが定番です。

Visited newly opened “Garage” Pub near office for farewell drink of my team mate. Renovated old building and nice atmosphere. Pub provides you nuts, French fries, Pizzas, grilled chickens etc.

チェナイのクラウンホテル内にあるお洒落なインド料理店へ。南インドに特徴的なバナナの皮を使ったプレートでサーブされるノンベジ定食。辛口のシュリンプカレーがお気に入りです。滝のような汗でスタッフに心配されました（笑）

Visited South Indian restaurant in Crown Plaza Hotel in Chennai. Meal was served with banana leaf. I liked spicy shrimp curry.

出張者と一緒にバンガロールへ来ています。フライトは久しぶりのIndiGo。機内食はサンドイッチかインスタント食品になります。

前回はビリヤニを試してみたので、飛行機の中でカップ麺とは、と思いながらも、モノは試しでキーマカレーヌードルを注文。激辛ですが、かなりイケます。今度の日本帰国時のお土産にいかがかと。

Visiting Bengaluru with my guest from Singapore. Haven’t flight with IndiGo for a while. Lunch will be sandwiches or instant foods.

I already tried biriyani last time, so tried first time Nisshin noodles. It’s so hot and spicy but very tasty Keema curry noodles. I think I should bring this back to Japan next time.

朝の一コマ。
降りる人と乗る人がせめぎ合うので、降りたい駅の２つ手前くらいから徐々に出口に近づいておくと、降りる駅で後ろから押されてうまく飛び降りることができます。エアコンがないので、開け放れたドア付近は風を受け快適、なのだとか。

Visited one of 5 biggest IT company in India. Fact is we cannot live without Indian company in light of IT infrastructure.

Security matter remains similar to the handset made by certain country, but how Japanese people take this fact who strongly believes national and US products/ services are No.1..

なにげなく手に取った一冊。

10年前に出版された本ですが、タタ財閥の歴史やインド経済界の変遷が、今では身近に理解できます。また、財団を通じた社会貢献をすでに100年以上長期にわたって続けているというのには驚きました。世界の企業がCSRやESGで頭を悩ませているのとは全く次元の異なる話です。

Book about Tata Group issued 10 years ago. It is good to grasp high level understanding on Development of Indian economy and history of this group.

Very much impressed that Tata contributes to Indian economy via foundation more than 100 years. This is completely different philosophy from recently global corporate make up themselves by CSR or ESG.

Local pharmacy. Shop’s location is “very local” but on the other hand I have no doubt of its strong effect.
