設定が面倒だったので、ダウンロードしてからもなかなか使う機会がありませんでしたが、最近はお店でも小銭を用意しておらず、10ルピー未満の単位が繰り上げ（自分が損する）、繰り下げ（おまけしてもらう）が頻発するので、Paytmを導入。使ってみるとなるほど便利。銀行口座とも連携しているいるのでチャージも便利ですし、個人間の送金も簡単。

はるか昔、「決済はインフラとしての銀行からなくならないビジネスだ」と話していた人がいたような気がしますが、決済の信頼性をテクノロジーがすでに担う時代ですね。

I was so rude to setting up apps, so I have not been using this app even downloaded many days before. However recently retail shop is mostly does not have small change, therefore round up ( I have to pay more), round down ( shop to discount) happens quite often. So decided to use Paytm finally. Very convenient to charge money from bank’s account, also transferring money to friends.

A long time ago, someone said “Remittance is most important business for the bank as a social infrastructure”, but now technology can give a trust instead of bank.

そろそろ日本へのお土産も尽きてきましたが、インドの食べ物は兎角敬遠されがちなのでインスタント食品を試してみました。これはビリヤニ（お米）のインスタント食品です。お湯を注いで8分。

コメにコシがなくなってしまうので、物足りなさを感じますが、なんとなくインディアン。お値段35ルピー。

Ideas for something from India is always a big ask to us. Many people apologize Indian food if I bring to Japan, so now challenging some instant foods. Biryani is most popular rice food in India. Just wait 8 mins.

Taste is good but very soft. However still this is Indian. INR 35.-

本日はラマダン明けの休日です。とは言え仕事は山のようにあるのでSurface Goで仕事。着任した際には出張用PCもなく、「新興国赴任をなめているのか！」とシンガポールやシステムに食ってかかり、おおよそ1年がかりで我が社の中では最先端のモバイルアクセスを手に入れました。

1日5分、たかが5分。5分×20営業日×12ヶ月＝1,200分＝20時間。1年でおよそ3日分、つまり1％程度の生産性を改善できます。それが1日10分だったら？15分だったら？

Today is holiday in Mumbai for the celebration of ending of Ramadan. However so many backlog in place I worked with Surface Go. When I first arrived Mumbai, surprisingly there was no company’s mobile PC or mobile access for staff to take away. Strongly claimed to Singapore / System division and after almost 1 year I got most advanced mobile access (within my company though).

It maybe just a 5mins / per day, but, 5mins x 20 days x 12 months = 1,200 mins = 20 hours. Almost we can save 3 days. Can you imagine if it will be 10 mins or 15 mins per day?

6月4日、無事にインド赴任（最初の出勤日）から1年を迎えました。正直あっという間でしたが、沢山の経験と多くの気づきを得られた一年でした。チームのみんなにsamosaを振舞って一緒に祝いました。

インド赴任ですが、誰もが口を揃えて言うのは、

1年目は慣れるのに必死、
2年目は漸くビジネスのコツを得、
3年目に自分である程度コントロール、
4年目で稼げるようになり、
じゃあもう1年頑張ってくれ、派遣期間が伸びるため平均赴任期間が5年くらいになるのだそうです。

On 4th June, I completed my 1st year in India. I cannot feel already 1 year has passed, so many experience and findings. Celebrated with team member by having very tasty samosa.

It is said amongst expat, that

1st year, to get used to India
2nd year, understand business
3rd year, mostly control business
4th year, can make money
Therefore head quarter is possibly ask you to stay one more year to make a big money. As a regular average period of India stay is likely to be 5 years…

インドの街角ではこのように小さなボックスの中にタバコやら飴やらを並べて売る露天商？の姿がよく見られます。

1つ数ルピーからの販売で、ちょっと飴が食べたい時や、1本だけ一服したい時に便利？なようです。

In India, you can find this kind of “instant street shop”, everywhere. They sell cigarette, candy, gum etc in a small box.

Price is starting from 1 rupee, so looks good for the “just one sweet” or “one quick smoke”.

最近オフィスのそばにモダンなタイ料理のお店がオープンしました。お値段はそこそこのレンジですが（日本円で一皿700-1,000円くらい）、日本人でも納得できるクオリティ。デザートもチョコレートミルフィーユケーキなど、ドトールで初めてミルフィーユケーキを食べた時くらいの感動がありました。Spessoのようにインド化しないことを祈るばかりです。

Recently modern Thai cuisine restaurant, Nara Thai, opened near our office. Price is not pretty, range of USD 6–10 / per plate, but quality is ok. We ordered Chocolate Millefeille cake which is very creamy, tasty and worth to try.

我が家は19階ですが、時々チョロチョロとゴキが出現します。キッチン周りにコンバットを置いているので、時々思わぬところでひっくり返っていたりいます。

最近夜分にベランダでゴソゴソと動く影を見つけたので、仕掛けてみると、案の定いました。しかも見れれているにもかかわらずガッツリと食らいついています。1時間半くらい貪り食べた後、ゴキとは思えないノロノロとどこかへ移動。おそらくそのまま昇天されたことでしょう。気の毒ですが、衛生的に問題ありますしね。

We live in 19 floor but often find cockroach in our house. We put a poison food trap in kitchen area, so sometimes we find dead body in the bathroom etc.

Someday, late at night, we recognized some insect is moving around in our balcony. So we put a trap on the floor of the balcony, and next day, gosh, it came out!

It ate poison food for 1.5 hours and disappears to somewhere with very slow steps unlike its normal speedy moving.

Hopefully it went to long sleep. I’m sorry to it, but we also worry about our health.

ジェットエアウェイズの再開の目処は立ちませんが、すでに登録抹消された機材を中心に、一時的に別の航空会社で運用が始まっています。先日の出張帰りにジェットエアウェイズの機体を見た気がしたので確認してみると、やはりこういう感じだったんですね。

There is no visibility Jet Airways to fly back to the orbit, ex Jet fleet is now operated by another airlines.

I came across to see ex Jet aircraft when I came back from Delhi in the evening. Not sure at that time but now I found evidence picture from website.
